It is the policy of the Salt Lake City School District Board of Education to allow the use of district buildings and grounds as community centers, under conditions prescribed or permitted by law and in accordance with board policy, when not in use for district purposes. The board authorizes the superintendent to establish administrative procedures, including rules, guidelines, and rental fees to govern such communtiy use. The board will review and approve the fee schedule, given in Form C-4 as needed.

The purpose of this policy is to support community use of district facilities when available and as permitted by law, consistent with the administrative procedures to this policy.
