Community Partnership - Firefighters and School Nurses

District school nurses Judi Yaworsky and Wade Capps met with the fire department to register the AEDs which are in each school.

This community outreach relationship has made the school community safer and better prepared for an emergency.

When 911 is activated, the fire department now knows that Salt Lake City Schools have AEDs.

They also know that the school nurses have staff trained to respond to an emergency with the AED.
