Priority Bills for Salt Lake City School District

The following list of priority bills may change many times during the 2012 General Session of the Legislature. As bills are drafted, discussed, amended, and voted on, the impact on our students, families, and taxpayers may shift. The “updated as of” date is important to note when tracking a specific bill. If you have detailed questions about a bill, we encourage you to contact the bill sponsor. If you want to advocate a position of support or opposition to a bill, we encourage you to contact your representative or senator and/or a member of the committee assigned to hold the public hearing for that bill.
