Just how much difference can changing one light bulb make? Assistant Secretary from the U.S. Department of Energy Kevin Kolevar told Wasatch Elementary students if every house in the United States replaced one regular light bulb with a compact fluorescent (CFL) bulb, it would save enough electricity to power the state of Utah for two years. Kolevar and representatives from the Utah Governor's Office and Utah Clean Energy visited Wasatch Elementary on Change a Light, Change the World Day to explain the benefits of switching to CFLs.
