HomeBoard of Education Recognizes Pamela Atkinson

On Tuesday, April 8th 2008, Pamela J. Atkinson was honored by the Salt Lake City School District Board of Education for her long-standing support and concern for the students of the District. Pamela was instrumental in raising the necessary funds to construct the Rose Park Community Learning Center, which was dedicated in January of this year. Dr. Douglas Nelson, President of the Salt Lake City Board of Education, presented Pamela with an original piece of student art in appreciation for her efforts on behalf of the students. The Salt Lake City Board of Education also acknowledged and expressed its appreciation to the artist, East High School Senior Audrey Merrill, whose original art was presented to Pamela.
