Rose Park School Community Center

The Rose Park School Community Center is up and running. The completion of the community center is the realization of a dream that started ten years ago. It will provide a resource for students and parents where school, health, and community services will be offered. The center will give parents access to classes with other adults, provide mentors and resources to create marketable job skills, give parents assistance with their children's school work, and will house health care and daycare services. Students will have an educational environment, which supports and promotes their academic, physical, and social success. In partnership with families, the school, and the community, the center will strive to provide five fundamental resources to students and their families:

Ongoing relationships with caring adults;
Safe places for structured academic activities;
Support system to promote student success;
Marketable skills through effective education; and
Health care for those who need it.
