Expand Your Horizons

Last year, more than 28,000 girls from around the country attended an Expanding Your Horizons conference, and now you can, too! The Salt Lake 2009 EYH conference is a one-day event where girls from grades 6 to 12 can learn about technology careers and how fun math and science can be.

Attend workshops taught by women in science and technology fields
Discover what it’s like to be a vet, a pharmacist or even a rocket scientist
Experience the fun of hands-on learning−design, build, measure, mix, launch, test, laugh and learn!
Attend a keynote session with Dr. Sarah George, executive director of the Utah Museum of Natural History
For high school girls: figure out what you need to do now to plan for a career, college and financial aid! Hear from college representatives and professional women.
