Salt Lake City School District truly is Your Best Choice in education. We have programs and services to assist all students and families. In your public city schools you will find traditional schools and programs, year-round schools, K-8 schools, charter schools, academies, language immersion programs, and much more. Our teachers are highly qualified, professionally trained, and coached in the use of successful and proven teaching strategies.
We believe every child can learn and that all parents want their children to succeed. By offering a wide array of programs and services, we strive to the meet the needs of every child and offer a variety of choices to every parent.

Students and families who choose to attend schools outside of their neighborhood boundaries are responsible for their own transportation needs. District buses are typically not provided. However, students and families may be able to utilize public transportation. A map of public bus routes is available on the Utah Transit Authority website (link opens in a new browser window).
