No Child Left Behind reports show if Utah students made Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP). AYP is a formula agreed upon by the State and the Federal Government that determines if students made significant progress during the school year. There are approximately 40 different categories on the AYP reports, and a “No” in one single category results in a “No” designation for the entire school.
