K-6 Curriculum Summaries

SLCSD provides high-quality learning based on the Utah Core Standards for all students.

The Utah State Board of Education is the governing body that maintains the Standards for all schools and district. The Utah Core Standards are written by content area specialists, including teachers, university professors, and parents. They are then reviewed through a public vetting process. The final draft of the Standards are approved by a vote of USBE members before they are implemented throughout the state.
