Fire Cadets Sharpen Skills at SLC Fire Training Facility

Our senior Fire Cadet students, part of a CTE pathway in Salt Lake City School District, spent a day at the Salt Lake City Fire Department’s training facility, participating in real-time drills and experiencing firsthand what it takes to be a firefighter. These students have trained for up to four years - learning fire safety, developing teamwork skills, and gaining hands-on experience from current SLC firefighters. What an incredible opportunity to explore a future career!
