Horizonte Student Self-publishes Book

During Horizonte’s Instruction and Training Center’s Creative Careers Talk series, author and fashion business owner Gabriela Diaz, a current adult high school student at Horizonte, talked about her immigrant journey, how her determination and entrepreneurial spirit led her to build an online fashion business from scratch, and how she became a self-published author. Students were able to hear about Gabbie's journey, to enjoy a fashion show featuring some of her clothing, and most importantly, they learned to follow their dream, no matter how difficult the path.
