The West High School robotics team - Red Rock Robotics - shone bright at the FIRST FRC World Championship competition. The four-day event hosted 600 teams from around the world.
Red Rock Robotics finished the qualifying matches with a record of nine wins and only one loss, and ended ranked 6th out of 75 teams. Due to their high ranking, they were the alliance captain of the fifth-seed alliance in the playoffs. They selected alliance partner teams from Michigan, New York, and Pennsylvania. Their alliance ended up in 5th place overall.
Congratulations to the entire team and the teachers who support them!
