Whittier Principal Honored

Dr. Bri Deleon, the principal at Whittier Elementary, was recently nominated and accepted into the Women of Color Education Collaborative's National Principal Fellowship Program?

Bri Deleon holds a doctorate in Education, Leadership, and Policy from the University of Utah. She has been a school administrator in the Salt Lake District for over 5 years and recently served as President of the Salt Lake Association for School Administrators. Prior to school administration, Dr. Deleon taught middle school social studies and Spanish dual language immersion.  Her favorite parts of her current role include fostering an environment where teachers and students can thrive and getting to know all students and their families.
