Salt Lake City School District is proud to announce that we now offer Microsoft Office 365 free for students. Eligible students are able to download and install Office 365 ProPlus on up to 5 devices. To get started with this exciting benefit see the information below.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM ELIGIBLE?
Students in 3rd grade and above are eligible to receive student email through Office 365. If you were provided an email account you are eligible now. If you are still unsure about your eligibility you can ask your teacher for more information.
HOW DO I ACCESS OFFICE 365?
Sign into Office 365 with your school email address and normal computer password Microsoft Office 365.
HOW DO I INSTALL OFFICE 365 PROPLUS?
1. You can access your software benefit from within Office 365 or by clicking Office 365 software benefit.
2. If you are having issues installing Office, visit Install Office on your PC or Mac with Office 365 for business click here for installation instructions.
DO I GET ANYTHING ELSE BESIDES OFFICE 365 PROPLUS WITH THIS BENEFIT?
In addition to having access to the Office ProPlus which has applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote for PCs and Macs, you can activate the clients on your iPad, iPhone, and Android Phone, giving you access to edit and review your homework on the go. You also have been provided a district email address. If you do not know your email address ask your teacher before getting started. Also you get 1 TB of storage through OneDrive for Business to ensure you access to all of your documents whenever you need them. If you using a computer that doesn’t have Office installed, don’t worry you can edit or review those assignments in Office Online in any browser.
WHAT DEVICES CAN I USE OFFICE 365 PROPLUS ON?
Office supports PCs and Windows tablets running Windows 7 or higher, and Macs with Mac OS X 10.6 or higher. Office for iPad can be installed on iPads running version 7.0 or higher. For information about mobile devices, visit www.office.com/mobile.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GRADUATE?
Your Office 365 subscription through your institution ends upon graduation. You should make sure to transfer all your files from your school OneDrive to your personal account or USB drive prior leaving the district.
CAN STUDENTS INSTALL OFFICE FOR IPAD THROUGH THIS OFFICE 365 PROPLUS BENEFIT?
Yes, this would count towards the limit of installing it on 5 tablets. Just install the applications and sign in with your school ID.
IF I RECENTLY PURCHASED OFFICE AND I AM NOW ALSO ELIGIBLE FOR FREE OFFICE 365 PROPLUS THOUGH MY SCHOOL, WILL I RECEIVE ANY CREDIT AND/OR COMPENSATION?
