CONTRACT Professional Development Days

District Wide Professional Development will take place on August 15th and 16th, 2023.

Superintendent Elizabeth Grant will help us celebrate our 2022-23 successes and introduce the goals and priorities in the Board’s new Strategic Plan for Student Success 2024-2029.

We have two keynote speakers:

Dr. Jeff Zwiers is a senior researcher at the Stanford Graduate School of Education and the director of professional development for Understanding Language, a research and professional learning project focused on improving instruction and assessment of all students, with an extra emphasis on serving the needs of linguistically and culturally diverse learners. He will be speaking about enhancing learning with authentic academic conversation in all content areas.

He is passionate about developing students' technology literacy alongside curriculum using digital media production, digital art, podcasting, and AR/VR projects.
