West High

The Salt Lake City School District has hired VCBO Architecture to conduct a feasibility study of West High School. In looking at the possibility of reimagining this  campus, the district hopes to prioritize a high quality of education for all students and to recognize the rich heritage in this school community. The architects will provide expert opinions on the needs of the school building and community, give a review of cost estimates, make sure we meet student needs, and consider priorities like energy efficiency.

Representatives from VCBO and district leaders have held two public meetings to discuss the feasibility study. A third public meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 7 p.m., in the school auditorium. The results of the feasbility study will be reported to the Board of Education in February.
