Huntsman Center Graduation Guidelines
If you will be attending a graduation ceremony at the Huntsman Center, please be aware of the following guidelines and restrictions. Due to risk management policies at the Huntsman Center, students will not be allowed to wear leis of any kind (real or fake) on the graduation floor. The leis may be worn before or after the ceremonies and may be held by families in the audience during the ceremony, but they are not allowed on the floor of the Huntsman Center or while students are on stage accepting their diplomas. Also, please know that confetti is not allowed in the Huntsman Center. There will be a fine of $250 for any use of confetti.
In addition, please be aware that security checkpoints will be set up as you enter the Huntsman Center. Make sure to arrive early enough to allow time for these security checks. All bags will be subject to search, and the following items are prohibited.
- Artificial noisemakers
- Containers – glass bottles, cans, coolers, and thermoses
- Flash photography
- Large bags of any type
- Outside food or drinks
- Weapons of any type
Congratulations to our 2018 graduates, and thank you to graduates and families for helping us comply with these risk management policies! If you have additional questions about what is or is not allowed at graduation, please contact your student's principal.
