The board discussed the following topics:

- An update on plans to support high school athletic teams during the rebuilds of Highland and West High Schools. For Highland, we will build a softball field at Clayton Middle School and upgrade the field at Dilworth Elementary for Highland baseball. For West, upgrades will be made at Rosewood Park in partnership with Salt Lake City to support the baseball and softball teams. This agreement with the city will save the district millions of dollars compared to other alternatives. (watch on YouTube)
- The board reviewed a summary of the benefits and challenges of the partnership between the Salt Lake Center for Science Education and Bryant Middle School. (watch on YouTube)
