West High Teacher Wins Utah Jazz Most Valuable Educator Award

Instructure, the Salt Lake City-based makers of the Canvas Learning Management System, in partnership with the Utah Jazz are delighted to announce that Alison Bulson of West High School has been selected as Most Valuable Educator. Alison is the first recipient of this award. As part of the award, she received a visit from the Jazz Bear, a personalized Jazz jersey, and $1,000 for her classroom. Alison was also honored at a recent Jazz game.

Through the Most Valuable Educators program, Instructure will recognize 21 educators during 21 home games throughout the 2021-22 Jazz regular season. Each honored educator will be a guest of Instructure at the game and receive a personalized Jazz jersey. In addition, each will receive a $1,000 classroom grant courtesy of Instructure and a surprise classroom visit or organized assembly involving the Jazz Bear mascot, and personnel from the Utah Jazz and Instructure.
