Update: Rosslyn Heights Sports Complex Light Testing – October 8, 2025
Thank you for your patience during the construction of the Rosslyn Heights Sports Complex. The new facility is nearly complete, and we are excited to share it with you. Our school teams are already using the field and courts, and soon the facility will be open to the public when it is not reserved for school activities or rentals.
Before we can officially open, a few final tests are required, one of which is checking the lights. This testing ensures the playing surfaces meet brightness standards for high school sports and that the lights are angled to minimize shining into nearby homes and yards.
The light test is scheduled for Tuesday, October 14, at 8:00 p.m. It will last about 90 minutes while measurements are taken on the courts and field.
If adjustments are needed, additional testing may be required. We will keep you updated if that happens. We appreciate your understanding.
