Food Resources for Families
We know this is a tough economic time for many, and we want to share some information that might help with getting food support for families who need it. Just like you, we want our kids to be successful in school, but it’s hard to learn on an empty stomach. Below are a few things that may help.
- Has your family applied for free/reduced school meals? If you haven’t, it’s not too late! Fill out the free/reduced school meals application today. If your family qualifies for free meals, that means your child can get breakfast and lunch at school every school day.
- Did you know most of our 36 schools have school-based food pantries? If your family needs food support, it’s likely your school can help. Talk to your school principal or someone in the front office to get connected to the right resources.
