The Salt Lake City School District has hired NWL Architects to conduct a feasibility study of Highland High School. In looking at the possibility of reimagining this campus, the district hopes to prioritize a high quality of education for all students and to recognize the rich heritage in this school community. The architects will provide expert opinions on the needs of the school building and community, give a review of cost estimates, make sure we meet student needs, and consider priorities like energy efficiency.
Representatives from NWL and district leaders have held two public meetings to discuss the feasibility study. A third public meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 23, 2023, at 7 p.m., in the school auditorium. The results of the feasbility study will be reported to the Board of Education in February.
For those who were not able to attend the earlier public meetings, they available on our YouTube channel in English and Spanish.
