Karen Steele

Congratulations to Karen Steele, a teacher at Escalante Elementary. She has been chosen as a Fulbright Memorial Fund participant for their Teacher Program to Japan for October 2004. She will participate in visiting Japanese schools for three weeks along with other teachers from around the United States for the purpose of raising awareness of and interest in Japan as a cross-cultural experience. This is the second teacher in two years from Escalante to receive this honor.
