New Student Information System

Salt Lake City School District is in the process of selecting a new Student Information System (SIS) to replace Powerschool. Requests For Proposals were sent to several vendors, and with the help of a District-wide employee survey, a SIS Committee narrowed the field down to three vendors.

For each of the three vendors, the Gradebook portion of the demonstration will take place in the auditorium at Highland Park Elementary (1738 East 2700 South). This will allow interested individuals to see the Gradebook demonstration and then evaluate the system through another survey process. This information will be collected and shared with the committee as it makes the final selection.

The first vendor to demonstrate will be Education Solutions Development (ESD) on Thursday March 18, 2004, in the auditorium at Highland Park Elementary from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

The second vendor to demonstrate will be C Innovations on Thursday March 25, 2004, in the music room at Highland Park Elementary from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

The third vendor to demonstrate will be AAL on Thursday April 1, 2004, in the Rooms 112 & 113 at the District Office from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
