Subject: Welcome Back Meeting Reminder
The announcement of our Welcome Back meeting was to be coordinated with the job alike communications that have been previously distributed. There are some employees who do not participate in the job alike sessions that may not have known about our meeting together this Friday. If you are scheduled to work this Friday (8/20/04), generally all contract employees who work more than a 183 day contract, please come join us at Highland High School for our annual Welcome Back session.
The Welcome Back meeting is held in the auditorium and will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end by 10:00 a.m.; in time for those traveling to job alike sessions at other sites. We will have a brief welcome from the Board of Education with the majority of the time focused on sharing our new Student Achievement Plan for the District. You will need to arrive by 8:15 a.m. to have time to park your car and make it to the auditorium. If you can carpool with any of your colleagues, that would be very helpful. There will not be any refreshments for the Welcome Back meeting but I hope you find the meeting refreshing. Your efforts and example make the Salt Lake City School District the best public school district in the state. Our children are our future and that future is bright because of your hard work and dedication, thank YOU!!!
