Northwest Middle School has the GRAND PRIZE WINNER in the Workplace Safety Poster Contest sponsored by the Utah Labor Commission. Mahina Lasitani will receive $500 for her winning entry. There were over 1,000 entries in the contest from 26 participating schools.
Northwest Middle School had additional winners. They are: Valerie Perez - Honorable Mention - and three semi-finalists: Orcar Arellano, Deysi Romero and Jonathan Salazar.
