Image: Water Balloons as a Reward Take hundreds of water balloons, add elementary students plus one principal and what do you get? A great reward for a successful fundraiser. Students at Emerson Elementary had a chance to throw a water balloon at their principal, Ken Jones, as a reward for collecting nearly $22,000 during a recent PTA fundraiser. Teachers could also take a shot for $5 each. Although he was outfitted with a rain suit, Mr. Jones ended up water logged and sloshing back to his office after an hour of dodging balloons.
