Our Goal

The Communications and Community Relations Department aims to foster public understanding and support for schools in the Salt Lake City School District. We handle both internal and external communications for the district by issuing press releases, annual reports, newsletters, and responding to public inquiries. Additionally, we act as liaisons between the district, the legislature, our community, and the media, and we help coordinate media coverage of the educational activities in Salt Lake City schools.
