The SLCSD Way

The SLCSD Way is how we work together to make our schools the best they can be. It’s our promise to practice good leadership and teamwork so we can reach our shared goal: Excellence and Equity: every student, every classroom, every day. We focus on raising student achievement, building a Dignity District where everyone is respected, and becoming the top school district in Utah.

The SLCSD Way is about how we work as one team. We treat everyone with dignity and create school environments where students can grow socially, emotionally, and academically. We listen to many voices when making decisions, and we keep students at the center of those decisions. We explain the reasons behind our choices so everyone understands. We make our schools welcoming places where all students, families, staff, and community members feel they belong.

In every part of the district, we follow the SLCSD Way by keeping our promises, building trust through fairness and consistency, and providing the support and resources needed to be Utah’s leading school district.
