Crews are currently digging and removing dirt and asphalt on the south end of campus to prepare the area for additional parking and lighting that will support construction activities in spring 2026. Work will continue throughout the summer and is expected to wrap up before the new school year begins in August.

In addition, the schematic drawings for the new school building are nearly finished, with the latest update showing they should be complete by the start of school in August. Over the past few weeks, we've been working closely with the city to discuss utility and power access points, and we've also been identifying where outlets and data access will be needed throughout the school. These details are especially important for a campus designed to serve thousands of students, along with teachers and computer labs.

We’re still on track to complete the final plans by late 2025, with construction set to begin in spring 2026.
