In Bluegrass Guitar 1, you will study lead and rhythm guitar in a bluegrass music setting, strumming and picking popular old time and contemporary bluegrass tunes. We cover basic to intermediate rhythms and explore flatpicking melodies and various lead techniques. Please bring guitar, tuner, notebook, and a pen to class. Supplemental class materials are offered. Previous experience is helpful and preferred.
