With daily deliveries of steel, rebar, and cement trucks arriving multiple times each week, the new West High School is beginning to take shape in a very visible way.
Crews are actively tying rebar and pouring footings as foundational work moves forward across the site. In addition, an on-site fabrication area has been established where wall sections are being manufactured to improve efficiency and keep the project on schedule.
Work also continues along the east side of 300 West, where crews are relocating power lines to support the future building footprint. Throughout this process, care is being taken to ensure that all lanes of traffic remain open during peak commute times.
We appreciate the community’s patience as this important work continues. This phase of utility relocation is expected to be completed soon.
