Bond Updates and Construction Projects
Thank you to everyone who joined us at our open houses for the Highland High School and West High School rebuilds. It was great to meet you, listen to your suggestions, and hear your feedback on the plans and renderings of our forthcoming high schools. If you weren’t able to join us, we have placed most of the plans and images on our website. Click on the images below to visit the respective open house webpages.
Update on Highland High School and West High School – July 30, 2025
We’re working on making plans for our athletic teams at each school to continue practicing and competing, even while their campuses are being rebuilt. One of the biggest challenges for school districts across the country right now is chronic absenteeism. It’s hard for our students to succeed in school if they’re not even coming to school. We know that participation in extracurricular activities is an important way to keep students engaged, and athletics are an important component of many students’ experiences. We will continue to work to plan for alternate practice and playing locations for each team as we strive to eliminate barriers to participation.
Keep checking this page to stay up to date on the latest updates for each of our bond and construction projects.
