Preventative Maintenance

 

January – March (done Monthly)

  • Fan Filter - Replace as needed
  • Floor Drains-Add Water for trap maintenance

April

  •  Fan Filter - Replace as needed
  •  Floor Drains-Add Water for trap maintenance
  •  Roof Drains – Clear debris around drains
  •  Check roof for debris

May – September (done monthly)

  •  Fan Filter - Replace as needed
  •  Floor Drains- Add Water for trap maintenance

October

  •  Fan Filter - Replace as needed
  •  Floor Drains-Add Water for trap maintenance
  •  Roof Drains-Clear Debris around drain
  •  Check roof for debris

November

  •  Fan Filter - Replace as needed

  • ·Floor Drains-Add Water for trap maintenance

December

  •  Fan Filter - Replace as needed
  •  Floor Drains-Add Water for trap maintenance
  •  Deep Clean Kitchens
  •  Dust light fixtures
  •  Wipe down walls
  •  Scrub floors
  •  Clean floor drains

 

Daily

  •  Walk Around
  •  Check for unusual sounds, check for broken pipes, check for vandalism, check for broken windows.
  •  IPM- Intergrated Pest Mangement, inspect building for pests and rodents, set up monitors, traps, housekeeping, and environmentally responsible pesticides when needed in targeted areas.
  •  Debris around building, Door sweeps

 

Summer Cleaning

  • June – August
  • Deep cleaning of entire building items may include
  • · Clean all desks, chairs, and cabinets
  • · Clean all high traffic carpet
  • · Scrub wax floors
  • · Wash walls
  • · Check for work order items (burned out ballasts, dripping sink etc)
  • · Empty and wipe down lockers
  • · Deep clean restrooms
  • · Curb Appeal (Weeds, Trash, etc. outside)

High schools

  • Redo gym floors every year (if applicable)
  • All Schools every two years
  • Re-wax halls
  • Gym floors
