Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

Salt Lake City School District offers different Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options.  Each of the options below have different rules, regulations, and restriction for enrollment. Please contact the Benefits team for questions related to this topic: 

  • Employee Paid Health Reimbursement Account (FSA) (Medical, Dental, and Vision Expenses)
  • Employee Paid Dependent Care Account (DCA) (Dependent or Child Care Expenses)
  • District Paid Health Reimbursement Account (FSA) in Lieu of Medical Insurance (Must have other qualifying Medical Insurance)
  • District Paid Dependent Care Account (DCA) in Lieu of Medical Insurance (Must have other qualifying Medical Insurance)

Please note: Members of the SLASA bargaining unit are not eligible for District-Paid flexible spending accounts.
