2024 Community Education Summer Learning Programs

Our 2024 Community Education Summer Learning Programs will start on Wednesday, June 5, and run four days a week for six weeks.

  • Week 0 – June 5: Wednesday, June 5 - Thursday, June 6 (this week makes-up for the two holidays)
  • Week 1 – June 10: Monday, June 10 - Thursday, June 13
  • Week 2 - June 18: Tuesday, June 18 - Thursday, June 20
  • Week 3 – June 24: Monday, June 24 - Thursday, June 27
  • Week 4 – July 1: Monday, July 1 - Thursday, July 3 (no CESLP on July 4)
  • Week 5 – July 8: Monday, July 8 - Thursday, July 11
  • Week 6 – July 15: Monday, July 15 - Thursday, July 18

During the summer learning programs, the day will begin with breakfast at 8:00 a.m. Students will then participate in enrichment activities from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. and are dismissed at 1:00 p.m. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Please note that students are enrolled in the CESLP based on the school they attended in the 2023-24 school year. You can learn more on the Community Education website. 

Summer Learning Program Locations

Use the tables below to find where your child will attend. Again, students are enrolled in a summer learning programs based on the school they attended in the 2023-24 school year.

  • Rising - current students in a grade level are called ‘rising’ students of the next grade level (e.g., a current second grader is considered a rising third grader for the summer learning program and assigned to a third-grade class).
  • ESY - stands for Extended School Year for students determined eligible by their Individdual Education Plan (IEP) Teams.

Our high school summer school program will focus on credit recovery.
If your student has failed or missed a class needed for graduation, this
summer is an excellent time to make up for that missed credit. Credit
recovery classes will be available in all core subjects.
