New Assistant Principal at Dilworth and Indian Hills

Sarah Macol brings 21 years of experience in education, including 18 years with Salt Lake City School District. Throughout her career, she has served as an elementary teacher in grades K–3, a reading specialist, an ALS coordinator, and a PAR Consulting Teacher. In her coaching role, she supported first-year and developing educators across 16 schools in the district.
For the past seven years, Sarah has been part of the Wasatch community, where she has focused on arts integration and creating meaningful learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of all students, including neurodivergent learners. She is passionate about building strong school communities and believes that some of the best connections happen during car-line conversations with families and at community events.
Outside of school, Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, two teenage daughters, and their giant German Shepherd. As a family, they have shared a love of adventure through rafting, skiing, and exploring together.
Sarah is excited to join the Dilworth and Indian Hills communities and looks forward to building relationships with students, families, staff, and community members in the year ahead.
