New Administrators at East High School

Mr. Schulte is a lifelong educator with 43 years in education. He started out as a school bus driver while earning his bachelor's degree, then spent 15 years teaching special education at the junior high and high school levels. He coached football, wrestling, track, and cross country for more than 20 years and has served as an assistant principal and principal for 23 years, including 11 years leading Highland High, where he is credited with creating the Freshman Success program. He also brings nine years of district-level leadership, as Executive Director of Auxiliary Services. Mr. Schulte is excited to return to a high school campus and says the part of the work he enjoys most is walking alongside students in their academic journey. |

Riley is excited to be joining East High School as an Assistant Principal. Before coming to East, he served as the Dean of Students at Granite Park Junior High and has spent his career working in secondary education. He earned his bachelor's degree from Westminster College and master's degrees from Western Governors University. Outside of school, Riley enjoys working out, trail running, and spending time with his wife and their three kids. He is looking forward to getting to know the East High community and can't wait to get started! |

Rachel Reiser has served in a variety of roles in education, from alternative education to adult learning. Her favorite roles will always be teaching history and supporting multilingual learners. Most recently, she served as Dean of Students in Granite School District. A passionate advocate for public education, Rachel is excited to support East High’s students, staff, and families and be part of a school community with such a proud and enduring tradition. |
