Student Accomplishments

The West High School robotics team - Red Rock Robotics - and their alliance partners placed 5th overall at the FIRST FRC World Championship competition.

Salt Lake City School District has three State Sterling Scholar winners, two from West High School and one from Highland High School.

Several Clayton Middle School students have qualified for the National History Day competition.

Two West High School students, Mingchuan Cheng and Krishnam Goel, have been selected as National Merit $2500 Scholarship winners.

Some of our fire cadet students put their skills to the test at the Salt Lake City Fire Department training facility. 

A team from West High School won the recent Utah MathCounts competition.

A student from Washington Elementary School placed first in the Utah Affiliate Bowl for Future Problem Solvers.

Students from five schools came together to perform in our first-ever District Elementary Choral Festival.
