School Meal Prices May Increase

School Meal Prices May Increase for the First Time Since 2012

Due to rising food and labor costs and overall inflation, the district is considering its first meal price increase since 2012. In developing this proposal, the district prioritized maintaining students’ access to nutritious meals while minimizing the impact on families. Students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals will not be affected.

The price increase may be voted on as part of the Consent Agenda at the May 5 board meeting. Community members may share feedback about the proposed increase with Board Members via email.
