Third-grade teachers from five Salt Lake City School District elementary schools – Bonneville, Ensign, Indian Hills, Uintah, and Wasatch – were honored with the Science of Reading Award from the Utah State Board of Education! This recognition celebrates educators who have met, and will continue to exceed, state reading goals, building strong and supportive learning environments where students can thrive.

The teachers were honored and recognized during the Board Meeting on November 3, 2025.
