Career and College Readiness Maps

We are excited to share our College and Career Readiness (CCR) Maps. In 7th grade, students and parents begin developing CCR Plans with help from school counselors, teachers, and administrators. These new CCR Maps help students track their progress toward their goals.

What’s in Your CCR Map?

Gradu­ation Requirements

The first pages of your CCR Map show how to contact your counselor and school administrators, your GPA, and your progress in completing the classes required for graduation.

Awards and Achievements

Next, your CCR Map lists different awards and achievements you can earn. These include early college classes, Career and Technical Education classes, the Seal of Biliteracy, and the Seal of Civic Readiness.

College Readi­ness

Every student in Utah may be admitted to at least one college or university. Your plan includes information about those schools and links to Admit Utah, a site that helps you explore your higher education options.

Career Explor­ation

Finally, your CCR Map will offer career suggestions based on your interests and aptitudes and outline steps you can take in middle and high school to prepare for graduation and your future career.

Your CCR Map is updated at the end of every term to reflect the work you have completed. You can access your CCR Map at any time by logging into the Student/Parent Portal in PowerSchool. More information about logging in and how to access your CCR Map is available in the video below.
