Dr. Andrew Glaze, an Academic Coach for Mathematics, was recently awarded an Alumni Achievement award from Brigham Young University’s Math Education Department and the College of Computational, Mathematical, and Physical Sciences.  During the awards banquet, Andrew and alumni from the college’s other departments were honored for contributions and achievements in their respective fields.

While on campus, Andrew presented a guest lecture where he highlighted many of the outstanding teachers and excellent teaching practices found in the Salt Lake City School District.  He and other alumni awardees also volunteered their time on Saturday morning, mentoring students and judging the college’s spring research competition.

SLCSD is fortunate to have such outstanding and highly recognized professionals working in our district.
