It was all smiles for Bonneville Elementary’s teachers when they learned that their school had been awarded the Platinum-Level STEM School Designation from the Utah STEM Action Center. This will be presented to the Utah State Board of Education during their April board meeting. Bonneville is currently the only school in the Salt Lake City School District that has been awarded the official STEM designation from the Utah STEM Action Center. There are four levels of recognition, beginning with Bronze, Silver, Gold, and the highest, Platinum.
