Each state sends its top four competitors to the national MathCounts competition, regardless of school. This year, three of Utah's four spots go to West High — the most the school has sent to nationals in recent memory, and possibly ever.
Eric Chen, James Zheng, and Aditi Nagalingham will represent Utah alongside Leo Shen from Wasatch Jr. High at the national competition in Orlando, Florida from May 9–12.
