The Utah State Board of Education and the Utah School Counselor Association named the Clayton Middle School counseling team the April 2026 Secondary School Counseling Team of the Month. The team, including Anena Gardner, Lisa Jones, and Gabrielle Mendoza, provides student-centered support through small groups, newcomer and grief support, and career exploration opportunities that help students connect their strengths to future pathways.
