More Information

  • When will I receive my child’s results?

Acadience assessments are given several times throughout the school year to monitor student progress. Your child’s school or teacher will share results and communicate if additional support may be needed.

    What do the results mean?

Acadience results show how your child is progressing in important reading/math skills compared with grade-level benchmarks. Results may indicate that your child is:

    • Above benchmark: Above expected range for grade-level goals.

    • At benchmark: Making expected progress toward grade-level goals.

    • Below benchmark: May benefit from additional instruction or practice in specific skills.

    • Well below benchmark: May need more targeted support to build foundational skills.

Results are a snapshot of your child’s skills at the time of testing. Teachers use them alongside classroom work and other information to understand your child’s progress and plan instruction. A score alone does not determine whether a child is a successful reader or predict their future achievement.
