I-16: Administrative Procedures, School and Student Clubs - Equal Access Act
School (Curricular) Club: A club: A. that a school sponsors; B. C. that may receive leadership, direction, and support from the school
or school district beyond providing a meeting place during noninstructional time; and (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) with subject matter that is taught or
will soon be taught in a regular course with subject matter that concerns the body of courses as a whole; in which participation is
required for a particular course; or in which participation results in academic credit. Participation in a school club may be required for a
particular course or result in academic credit.
Student (Non-Curricular) Club: A club in a secondary school: A. that students initiate; B. that may be authorized and allowed school
facilities use during non-instructional time; and C. whose meetings, ideas, and activities are not sponsored or endorsed in any way by
the board, a school, a school, or school district employee
