SLCSD Robotics

SLCSD’s Teaching and Learning Department recieved a Computer Science Grant from the State of Utah and made robotics a focus of the grant.  These devices are a wonderful physical connection to the world of coding, in Computer Science.  Teaching and Learning offers these to all of the classrooms of SLCSD and would love to give any training you may need to implement the use of them.  We have a Canvas Course that gives an overview of what robots we have and agreements that teachers would need to fill out (in the form of a “Quiz”), to be able to check the robots out.

SLCSD 3D Printing

SLCSD has purchased several 3D printers for use with teachers and students of the district.  If you are interested in learning more about how to include this learning technology in your class, then reach out to alex.rowe@slcschools.org.
