Engaging In Family Reading

School is back in session, and it’s the perfect time to discover what your child enjoys reading! The district has many resources to help your child find books they’ll love. They can visit the school library to check out books and magazines or explore our online library for ebooks and audiobooks. Whether they’re reading on their own or with the family, our libraries offer something for everyone.

To stay involved in your child’s reading, talk with them about the books they’re reading. This helps them understand and enjoy the stories more, and it shows that reading is both fun and important. Asking questions and sharing your thoughts also encourages them to think more deeply and express their own ideas. Plus, it’s a great way to spend time together and learn from each other.

Here’s how you can log in to see what your child is reading. If you have any questions or need reading recommendations, please ask your school’s teacher librarian. They can help you find your next great book!
